October Fun

October has arrived. And with it comes... Halloweeen! :D

Right now you can do the Halloween quests for the Pumpkin brothers in Wizard City. With it also means the holiday drops from certain bosses, the Halloween Spires (the three towers) and the return of Baron Mordecai. So make sure to stop around and have some fun!

To go along with this, Mercs4Hire is doing a bunch of weekend runs. Check it out over here.

Going to these is a great opportunity to try for the awesome Halloween loot. They also have a bunch of contests that will be going on for cool stuff too. (those are all here)

Hopefully you can have some fun with these things this month. I know I can't wait.

Though, it would be cool if they would have a new event of sorts come out for the bigger holiday celebrations every couple years or so. Repeats are never quite as fun. :\

New Years Eve 2011

Another year has just flown a jet past me... I really can't believe it's already been another year gone by.

In the wizardly world I have :
- Begun blogging
- Become a Twizard
- Reached Celestia
- Met some awesome wizards
- Listened to lots of Ravenwood Radio episodes
- Competed in the Ambrose2Zeke Champions II
And had an amazing time!

The real life things also are amazing...
but none of this would be the same without the amazing community I am surrounded by. So I want to thank you all so much and wish you a ... HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Can't wait to see what KI brings in with you 2012.

So have a happy and safe New Years Eve. Whether it's with friends, family, or maybe all alone (which shouldn't be the case with this amazing community) I hope it goes well. Whether you stay up late, or decide to go to bed (or just fall asleep) early, it doesn't matter, you can have a GREAT time.

So until next year,

To the Spiral! (or wherever you're going this fine evening for celebrating)

Pre-Major Changes

Just wanted to notify everyone that in the next couple weeks I am going to be making a a few MAJOR changes. So be watching... because one of them may make it a little confusing for a while.

Also don't forget to check out each of the pages through the tabs at the top of the page. Especially the Music Scroll Hunt.

Thank you for stopping by!

Until next time,

Farewell, Autumn

As you may have heard, Autumn of HiaG (Homework in a Graveyard) is no longer going to be among us bloggers.

 http://autumnaldusk.blogspot.com/2011/08/abaracadabara.html

Also here is the post that Friendly made, which has a note from her.

http://thefriendlynecromancer.blogspot.com/2009/08/official-goodbye-from-homework-in.html

But in the end of her post, telling us of her leaving, she asked that we not mourn for the leaving of her, but if we really wanted to Memorialize HiaG, we would do two things.

1- Scour HiaG for tips and ideas that we can use to make our own blogs better.

2- We can place a simple Elder(ghost) dandelion in our homes as a memory. When I grow a dandelion to elder, I will then add a simple tab of the right as a memory of HiaG and how it's seeds shall spread to take root in our own blogs. :)

Thank you Autumn for all you've done. The posts, the ideas, and the Trials. It was all very fun.

-Until next time

GFF Handout

There will be a (tier 4+) giveaway when it's finished, and tweet GFF to me for more info!
**OOPS That should say 5 month**

And don't forget the poll over on the right!

Spread the news about this! If we can get enough people to help, maybe we could make two stories by then!(Wouldn't that be awesome, working as a community to create literature! Maybe when it's done we could submit it to the official Fan Fiction!?) Just remember that your entry must follow the rules that are posted. Even if you don't post, at least come and follow the story...it's pretty suspenseful right now.

And it just might make it even more worth it than I plan on it ---oops! I meant to say don't zoom ---

Hmmm... A writer always gets a reward, whether it be experience or money. And they usually get more opportunities afterwards. secret message

Hope to see some entries for the story soon! Even if only finish one, we will still have all become writers! hint  But if we do finish two, we will double the reward be even better writers.

Until tomorrow (or whenever I next post)

Just wanted to let any viewers know that I'm working on a fan fiction story...head over HERE to help---I mean check it out...hehe

Also, this week I am working on farming a mander pet from the 2 guys in the Karahnahnn area. I'll do a report on getting it once I have it...Fighting Prince Manu Nirini didn't work, though my sister and friend both got one on the first try, I got tired after farming him 25+ times.

Just a little wait...

The main reason I won't be posting for a few days is that I accidentally deleted all the Wizard101 files from my computer while I was trying to load it onto my flash drive. Right now I'm having to go through and load EVERYTHING! in game...worlds, items, etc. And my internet isn't very fast, so, until its loaded up I won't have very much news.
One other note though...check out the thing about the new musician who is writing the music for Wintertusk over at the Wizard101 site.
